Meenakshi Gupta is DHC's President HR Admin. She has been with the company since its inception. Actively worked to transform DHC into an emerging leader in essential themes tied to development, such as emerging markets, human resource solutions, and personnel leadership.
She holds an Masters of Science in Education Extention from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. With the support of World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1982, she worked on an extensive research project in Gujarat where she designed and constructed an indigeneous water filter.
Responsible for corporate development, training & education, Meenakshi also laid the vision for DHC's ambitious Persomanagement initiative. Under her able management initiative, our approach to promoting work–life balance varies from city to city. But it is always based on a common straightforward principle: to help our employees perform to their full potential. Her work covered a spectrum of cities and people with a focus on human resources and administrative roles. Additionally, in areas such as mental health and health promotion, the her team offers employees in counselling services and employee assistance programs.
During her last three years with the company, she was responsible for and managed the successful initiation of the training academy, a foundation that is active in the area of science, education and humanity. As she says "We believe that education, awareness and training are the best ways to foster youth engagement in and responsibility towards wellbeing. With this in mind, we conduct regular training sessions, regional conferences and workshops and provide online tools in local languages to all skilled youth".
Performance is rewarded by DHC through a transparent and consistent process that encourages fairness, continuous feedback, dialogue and development. While rewarding and recognising employees has been her most embedded value addition in retaining, motivating and attracting employees. Implementing her idea at DHC's 21st Annual Day Celebrations, successful employees were recognized for their contribution to the business to reinforce a culture of performance and innovation.
